Hello all. I have a query regarding the admission procedure of CCMT. Suppose I have two colleges in my preference: A and B. Where A has a better scope(in terms of placement/research) than B. Suppose I get college B in the 3rd round. I want to lock B so that in worst case if I don’t get college A in NSR round, I can still get back to B. So is this scenario allowed? Or do I have to forfeit college B in 3rd round completely in order to register in NSR?

@DukeThunders

Yes it is allowed. You just have to fill a affidavit so that you can participate in Special round. Otherwise you have to submit the complete fee of the alloted college after 3rd round.

So if I get college C (which is worse than my current college in hand ie. B), can I still get back to B? Or I have to take C?

You should fill carefully in special round. I don't think that you are going to fill those colleges which is inferior to your college B. So if you got something in special round it will replace your college B and if you didn't get anything then your college B remains with you.
