given a mask m=255.255.255.240.How many subnet bits are required for given mask M?

ans is 4

which will happen if it is class c but why they consider it as default case?

It is not mentioned that they are using classless CIDR blocks, so we should consider classful addressing.

Shouldn’t the bits required be 32?

11111111.11111111.11111111.11110000 or 28 if they are counting just the 1’s?
