The mode of a Binomial Distribution is→

Now mean= np = 4 (n= number of items, p=probability) _______ eqn_1

and variance = npq = 3 ( q= 1 - probability ) ______________ eqn_2

Solving eqn_1 and eqn_2 we get, p = 1 / 4

So mode = floor(np+ p) = floor(4.25) = 4

Ans→ d. 4
