Suppose an organisation has CIDR based IP address, Organisation decided to divide the network into three

subnet name as X, Y, Z respectively. Which of the following is a valid IP address of the subnet Y?

According to me both and can be the ans, but they have provided only B as ans. Who is right?

Here third octet should be greater > 204 when we do the subnetting as for that IP the subnet mask of third octet is 11111100 →  252 and value of 204 is 11001100 so 252 & 204 is 204 hence NID will contain 204. So third octet should be greater > 204
