Can someone explain, how option A can be the correct answer?

A can be the answer because * gives the whole tuple as a result, and whole tuple can not be repeated in SQL because of constraint that the primary key must be different. So SELECT * will give distinct rows.

but here primary key is not given, how can we assume that it is there?
In that case, collection of all attributes considered as primary key
