Consider an instruction of indirect addressing mode. What are the number of memory references by the processor when instruction is a computation that requires a single operand and when it is a unconditional branch instruction respectively ?

Generally, it takes 2 memory references for indirect access for one operand, moreover given that instruction is computation, so we need to store back the result
Therefore 3 memory references.

But the question didn't specify that, instructions need to fetched or not?  So, by default we assume ( as per my knowledge ) instructions already fetched !

Option B is more preferable.
