What should I retain in round 4 of COAP?
Currently I have retained MTech CSE of iit kanpur one time in round 2 of COAP , and round 3 , i have only got iitK again. I will be retaining iitK again , but now I have retained iitK two times. I want iitMadras but in. Internet I found Iit ... got no new offer , then what should I do, retain iitK?? Or Take risk for round 5 ?? What Would You advice ??

I got Gate score of 685 (General Category) and rank 784 in gate 2021. I am confused between NIT T DA and NIT W CSE. If a don't get NIT T CSE which one should I choose. Also between NITs and IIITB which one will be good choice considering placements and curriculum? Also which is to prioritise between NIT W CSIS and NIT K CSE please help me resolve this confusion.

Query regarding admissions in IIT.
I gave gate in CS this year and got Rank 291 (Gate Score : 773). I have done Mechanical Engineering . Recently I got to know that I am not eligible for IIT G and IIT R because my bachelors is not in CS. What are the best possible options for me at this rank . Will academic year 2021-22 for fresh joinees in mtech programs in iits be on-campus or offline?
I've scored 69.67 in set 1 according to the current official answer key, and although GO's predicted rank is 64-80. I still feel that given how many silly mistakes I have made, and my perception of the papers difficulty level, my predicted rank seems too good to ... t find any news article mentioning anything after a simple google search) or whether as of now we have to assume it will be online :(

What are pros and cons of selecting integrated PhD
Hello Friends, After attempting GATE, any candidates normally have 3 options - M.Tech, MS or Integrated PhD. But unlike the other two, in PhD we have to spend almost 5 years and if we select that option without thinking and without knowing the reasons, then ... and the process of selecting an integrated PhD. At what stage do we have to select specialization(computer vision, ML, compilers etc)?

If i have 6.7 overall cgpa but my degree has second class, then what will IIT consider for admission?
Anyone who is from IIT or knows about this answer please reply. I have seen the websites of IIT’s and they require 60% marks or 6.5 cgpa or first class result in BTech. My doubt is that if I have 6.7 cgpa in my marks card but my degree generated has just second class on it, will I be able to apply for IITs with my CGPA or not?

Hello everyone. I am currently working in a startup, with not so good salary. Gate 2017 score is 620 and rank 1589. Can I get interview call from any IIT/IISc? I have heard that IIT Ropar is doing well in academics and placements in the recent times. But in their site I was not able to find placement statistics of their M.Tech course. I am applying for MS in Computer Science via GATE score for IIT Madras. After ordering the 6 specialization preferences what do I need to fill in the Research Proposal box ? AFAIK MS at IIT madras requires one to complete some credits in coursework and then pursue masters thesis in the field one is interested in after discussing with appropriate faculty.

What can I do if i don't have all semester marks card while applying for MTech/MS after GATE ?
I am not able to get my 7th and 8th semester marks card due to the COVID-19 situation. I have my semester marks cards for the first 6 semesters (missing out on the 7th and 8th semester marks cards) and my BE degree (yes, it so happens that I got my BE ... NOTE: My degree certificate does not show my final CGPA, but it states that I got first class distinction (> 70% when converted to percentage).

While filling IIT form they are asking to upload provisional certificate and semster marksheets. I am currently in 4th year 8th sem.
